I just want to say that I think PGR88 would have done a fine job prosecuting Berry.
Garland tried to defend his appointment of Jack Smith based on “regulations” used for about three decades.
Problem is regulations are not laws no matter if those regulations have been used as justification in the past. Therefore, Garland had no authority to appointment Jack Smith.
He is as illegal as the J6 committee that was ruled illegal but not after upending our laws and destroying evidence and hiding evidence and jailing people like Steve Bannon.
the whole issue was more simply presented, relying only on Article II appointments clause, on Life Liberty & Levin, pointing out that Garland is relying on Smith being an “inferior” officer. but of course US attorneys require Senate confirmation - and the most powerful prosecutor is considered an “inferior” officer? only in the Logic for Libs manual.
