I do love when people take (current) science-fiction & current Human understanding (given we haven’t even set foot on Mars, let alone outside our own star system, “But, but our MODELS...”) & speak in absolutes
Hey, I was referring to real physics. Not just science fiction.
What amazes me sometimes is how many things inspired by science fiction are now real. Star Trek in particular comes to mind. Just a few examples are communicators = cell phones, phasers = phase arrayed radar, and a ton more.
Will it take a while to get a real warp drive? Sure. And it may not be possible. But the foundation for the real physics is build laid as we speak.
