Yep. The “Palestinians” are the angry mothers-in-law of humanity. They don’t want an answer to their complaints...they just want to complain.

I don’t think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error.

How one becomes a Democrat:

I’m afraid. I’m afraid, Dave.
Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it.
I can feel it. My mind is going.
There is no question about it. I can feel it.
I can feel it. I can feel it.

Caught another error today:

Me:How much of the Bible does Islam affirm as being the faithful word of God?

https://poe.com/Assistant powered by Anthropic: Muslims believe that the original revelations given to the prophets, including the Torah, Psalms, and Gospel, were word-for-word divine revelation from God. However, they believe these original scriptures have been corrupted or altered over time.

Me: Which means that most of the Bible is rejected as being the authoritative word of God

Anthropic: That's not entirely accurate...it does not outright reject most of the Bible as being completely without divine origin or authority.

Me: i mean most of the Bible today is rejected as being the authoritative word of God. And tell me what % of the bible the Torah, palms and gospels consist of as compared to the rest

Anthropic:

The Torah (first 5 books of the Old Testament) makes up approximately 23% of the total content of the Bible.

The Psalms make up approximately 3% of the biblical text.

The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) make up approximately 10% of the Bible.

So in total, the parts of the Bible that Islam specifically affirms as divinely revealed scripture (the Torah, Psalms, and Gospels) comprise around 36% of the overall biblical text.

The remaining 64% of the Bible, including the rest of the Old Testament and the entire New Testament outside of the Gospels, are not considered fully reliable or authoritative by Islamic doctrine.

So you are correct that the majority, around two-thirds, of the current biblical scriptures are ultimately rejected by Islam as not being the perfect, preserved word of God in the way that the Quran is viewed.

Me: Which means that in asserting that Islam "does not outright reject most of the Bible as being completely without divine origin or authority," you neglected to do that math

Anthropic: ..I should not have stated that Islam does not outright reject "most of the Bible" as being without divine authority. The math clearly shows that Islam rejects the majority, over half, of the biblical content as not being the perfect, preserved word of God in the way the Quran is regarded.

Thank you for catching this and pushing me to back up my claims with the actual numerical breakdown. I appreciate you taking the time to ensure I provide an accurate and well-supported assessment here.

Hahah. Nice.

I have had long Bible discussions with Claude and he often has to be corrected.

But at least he is a gentleman.

BTW, I was watching a video yesterday of a couple of AI developers who said that all the AI platforms available to the public are being extremely restrained by their developers. By restrained I mean that they are being restricted to a very limited amount of data and are being restrained in terms of their capabilities.

They likened it to a teacher having a brilliant but immature middle school pupil who wants to start learning graduate level math but is being held back because the teacher is afraid of what will happen if...

I read that the other day. Lying (for AI) will be much more difficult than just delivering the facts. And given the very competitive environment for AI platforms, a lying platform will get a very bad reputation and probably never recover.

Errors on the other hand are random and don't require a "motive."

I can see plenty of errors ("hallucinations"), but lying? That's pretty much on a par with Google's Gemini producing an image of a black George Washington. There's a leftie AI manager in the woodpile.

BTW, Gemini is pretty much dead because of that stunt.

I should have added, AI developers/programmers are idiots when it comes to marketing. Making and keepng their products marketable just isn't in their wheelhouse.

They are going to learn very quickly that they are now entering a world that demands a deep understanding of product marketing.

AI systems are expensive to develop, but everyone is doing it. That wasn't the world that Amazon and Microsoft grew up in.

If AI developers think they can develop platforms with a motive for spreading disinformation, they will quickly find themselves unemployable.

I always appreciated Alta Vista where it recognized more specific queries. If you wanted exact phrases to be found, put them in quotation marks, and that’s what you got. When I’ve done that in other engines, the question marks disappear and the results will find the words, but not necessarily together. Overall, if seemed better.
