The Christian parents of a girl in Chicago wanted her to enjoy the finer things in life but be a Christian at the same time. They sent her to a finishing school where she learned to walk, talk, eat and drink wine.
She learned to drink a lot of wine and became a drunkard. She also became extremely immoral and woke up one Sunday morning in a strange hotel room with a man she didn't know. She walked to the window and jumped.
One of the police officers that arrived on the scene was kneeling beside her and recognized her as an old friend of the family that he had held from the time she was a baby. Someone asked why she did it and with tears streaming down his face he said, "Because, when you don't have Jesus, there's nothing left to do but jump."
But yes, how sad it is when people feel they have only one option and that is to end their lives.

The top pyschiatrist in Holland was homeless after dealing with the royal family and leading politicians.... the Dutch have an identifiable insanity, which women frequently are affected. It runs in families, like the bleeders, and it is a generation curse.

In America she would have been told she was really a man and put on testosterone and given a double mastectomy and take two aspirins and call me in the morning.
In the US Armed Forces she’d have been given 800 mg Motrin, told to hydrate and told to change her socks.
