We shouldn’t need them but if an appeals court fails do you expect SCOTUS to be our saving grace? The appeal-34 counts-they’ll find one to stick. It might take years. Remember the Oliver North exoneration in Sept. 1991? 5 years after Iran-Contra. Trump would be out of office. Go the appeals route.
