You will see the guy in the light blue jacket pounding the man who tried to stop the jihadi. The cop then went after this guy since he was an accomplice.

Yep, it sure seems that way, sadly. However, his priority should have been to subdue the man with the knife, not the unarmed guy in blue.

There was a tremendous amount of confusion in the few seconds of the attack. I think the “unarmed guy in blue” was a bystander trying to help. The cop who (in the confusion) went after the bystander (instead of the perp with the knife) was then from behind stabbed in the neck by the actual knife wielding terrorist. The cops who tried to medically help the stabbed officer did EVERYTHING wrong. They should have kept him lying on the ground and applied EFFECTIVE pressure to his wound. Instead they had him stand up and did not apply pressure. He lost sufficient blood and blood pressure that he quickly was rendered brain dead. All IMHO, of course.

THE COPS SHOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY SHOT HIM at the BEGINNING OF THE ATTACK. And THAT is NOT IMHO, IT’S FACTUAL.
