Salem retracted their support because of the legal challenges. If you were D’Souza or True the Vote and you had promised people anonymity, you wouldn’t be willing to give up their names to Georgia officials who you suspected wouldn’t seriously investigate the allegations and might put pressure on your sources to recant. D’Souza and TTV didn’t produce names — their evidence was cellphone data and video — but this was reported as saying that they didn’t have any evidence and admitted that they didn’t have any, which isn’t the same thing.

Large-scale voter fraud is difficult to prove in a court of law — maybe without actual multiple confessions — but as I understand it, the film made a plausible case for what could have happened and was happening. There are plenty of big media “debunkings” of the film that crowd out dissenting opinions on any web search, but those “debunkings” don’t deal honestly with the issues and allegations raised in the film.

Here’s a partial debunking of the “debunkers”:

I don’t even like Dinesh D’Souza, but I don’t see that this movie is any worse or less reliable than his others. I certainly don’t trust the standard big media snow job.

If you go to your first link, it lists errors I was If you put your phones together in an If you put your phones together in a unaware of. Including using a scene from Moscow as the greater Atlanta area. That’s sloppy at best.

The people who were promised some sort of veil of anonymity always had a risk of exposure through the courts. I just can’t see not wanting to take a stand. It gives the air of just tossing something out there and seeing where it falls. And Salem dropping out does nothing to stop that as there are other parties to this case.

Finally, why were they blurring the identifiers of the “mules”? If they were committing crimes? Wouldn’t you want them easily identifiable for law enforcement?

I really believe this was a Lindel type tactic. Make an accusation and get miffed when it’s easily disproven. And of course, the target audience still has faith in the produce.

Lazamataz smacks down: Oh, then I guess the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Georgia Public Broadcasting got it wrong.

"freeper" joesbucks is a Democrat Party operative on FR, and a consistent liar, to boot.

I believe Trump has had a fair trial. Should I be charged with crimes, I hope I would be treated as well as Trump.
