House Speaker Mike Johnson stopped Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley to campaign for Republican Rep. Ryan Mackenzie’s congressional run against [the] Democratic incumbent ….
Johnson and Mackenzie stopped at Cetronia Ambulance Corps in South Whitehall Township as part of National EMS Week.
Johnson’s visit is the first of what likely will be many from high-profile Republicans on behalf of Mackenzie in what is expected to be a close race. The seat is considered one of the most competitive in the United States, and has been deemed a “toss-up” by election forecaster the Cook Political Report.
Speaking with reporters at the event, Mackenzie said the Lehigh Valley is a key swing area for the election, and that it is a “microcosm” of the country.
He said Americans are struggling and that the country needs to get back on the right track by closing the border and cracking down on wasteful spending in Washington. “Wide-open borders” and “persistent inflation” are things he has vowed to address if elected.

People are “just fed up with the way things are going,” Johnson said
Johnson said Tuesday that he’s been campaigning for the last two days in the state, and that the Republican Party is excited for Mackenzie’s campaign. He mentioned that Mackenzie has a lot of experience as a state representative and longtime resident of Pennsylvania.
“He brings a lot of acumen to the table,” Johnson said. “We can’t wait to have him join Congress.”
The 7th District, which comprises Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties, as well as part of Monroe County, is considered a must-win for each party.

Yup- starting with traitor johnson
Johnson has only poured gasoline on the bad things that are going on.
He acts oblivious of his own contributions to the bad things we are fed up with.
Not too sure if Johnson has “coattails”, or influence to attract votes. He seems like a placeholder for the time being. Not much more.
Purple district. Mittens won the district in ‘12. So what did our guy do in it to lose the house seat(2018)? Resigned-sexual conduct allegations. Name was Meehan who was 63 years old at the time. What’s he gonna do with it?
Rhetoric: Mike Johnson traveled to New York in order to make a speech defending president Trump.
Action: Mike Johnson voted to continue funding Jack Smith’s persecution of president Trump.
So much for self awareness.

A list of ALL the DA’s and folk across the nation who were going to subpoena hillary, obama bill clinton etc….THIS IS HOW YOU FKING FIGHT AND PLAY THE GAME!!!! You have to be ready for your enemy…counter attack soon after NOT NEXT WEEK OR NEXT MONTH BUT EFFIN NOW!!! They should’ve been ready with the ammo!!! Effin weasel spineless POS!!! I loathe our reps! And other slogans he has been instructed to regurgitate so republicans can wield the levers of power to direct where the grift is directed.
This used to be a reliable GOP congressional district until the State Supreme Court ordered this new gerrymandered district.
Now the Rat candidate ALWAYS wins with late incoming ballots from Allentown that are just enough to put them over the top.
The last election in 2022, Republican Lisa Sheller was ahead by 6000 votes at the end of election day, and then after two days of additional counting (phantom) ballots, the fat Susan Wild pulls ahead to eke out a win (which they suddenly stopped counting) surprise, surprise.
But he’s all he can for Trump……..?
“Johnson has only poured gasoline on the bad things that are going on.”
I think, in hindsight, that the Neocons wanted the $61B to stall in the House as they were likely wiped out of weapons when it was first proposed, and thus they and Ukraine would have looked even more pathetic than they do now. The 6 months at least allowed them to produce a few more weapons (with the few remaining defense plants in the West) so the deliveries just after the $61B was approved thus looked like it had some effect.
So Johnson may have been actually carrying the water for the Neocons the entire time.
Check
is a Judas Johnson endorsement now a kiss of death like McConnell?
