My memory is that the Cruz campaign spread false rumors about Ben Carson dropping out of the race, and suggested that Carson's support should go to Cruz. That may indeed have been the reason Cruz won the 2016 Iowa caucus. This was the work of scumbag Jeff Roe, who also had been involved with the DeSantis campaign, albeit indirectly.

Naturally, ABC Fake News lied about the Iowa caucus. Trump might have been cheated out of a victory because of the Cruz campaign duplicity, but there's no way of knowing that for sure.

ABC might have been right that Trump's made those comments about the 2008 Obama election, but with 20-20 hindsight in consideration of the massive 2020 fraud, Trump may well have been right there too.

Bottom line-using a dishonest MSM propaganda hit piece to make your point doesn't prove anything.
