I think you are correct about this, even though I do think that he is not ingratiating himself with the Lord by compromising on abortion. I wish he would compromise on things that are not of divine concern, such as taxes, the 2020 election, or healthcare. Those would be better to move to the middle, if he really feels like he must.
His decisions on everything are, to me, his business. I have my positions. He has his. You have yours. All good. Wishing is something we all do. I wish he had better vetting on his appointments.
I’ll support him regardless of any disagreement we have on any issue. Fundamentally, he’s a fighter. Fighting is why I stopped contributing to Republicans during Bush. Wimps in the White House is not my idea of a way to protect this country. Trump is. Everything else is just detritus to be brushed aside.
