‘Keep on fighting’: Trump gets words of support from Hungary’s Orban, other foreign leaders

Some top officials in Europe raced to the defense of Donald Trump on Friday, a day after the former president was convicted by a New York jury on 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records.

The loudest support for Mr. Trump came from some of his closest European allies, including Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

“Solidarity and full support for @realDonaldTrump, victim of judicial harassment and a process of political nature,” Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini said in a social media post. “In Italy, we are sadly familiar with the weaponization of the justice system by the left, given that for years attempts have been made to eliminate political opponents through legal means. I hope Trump wins; it would be a guarantee of greater balance and hope for world peace.”

In Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov echoed Mr. Trump’s characterization of the case brought against him by New York prosecutors, framing it as a clear example of politics infecting the criminal justice system.

I need to look into Hungary as a possible destination to flee. I doubt that I can just walk across the border.

Hungary has a bunch of positives and courageous citizens, however, they are NOT America, and European nations have a history of friction, monarchy, socialism and war to decide whom gets to steal.

I think the problem everywhere is summed up by my Tagline.

European nations have a history of friction, monarchy, socialism and war to decide whom gets to steal.

Most nations have a history of monarchy, including Biblical Israel. Republics have been rare. Democracies rarer still (and not very long lived).

And almost every nation has a history of friction, wars and socialism (e.g., Social Security, Medicare, public schools, etc.).

I have great respect for Victor Orban.

Not recent, but a great interview:

Tucker Carlson @TuckerCarlson interview “Viktor” Orbán. (Aug 29,2023) (AMAZING!!)

Ep. 20 Hungary shares a border with Ukraine. We traveled to Budapest to speak with the country’s prime minister, Viktor Orbán.

I don’t care what Orban says. I care about what the American people, you know the only ones who are allowed to vote in US elections, make of Trump’s conviction. Many, if not all, Freepers will still vote for Trump, conviction or no conviction. Independents and GOPers, not so much.

Maybe Orban has figured a way to vote for President Trump, and he’s just gonna return the GloboHomo favor while remaining quiet about it.
