House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan on Friday called on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and prosecutor Matthew Colangelo to testify for the “political prosecution” of former President Donald Trump.
Mr. Jordan, Ohio Republican, teed up a hearing where both men will testify in front of the Weaponization of Federal Government Subcommittee on June 13.
“This hearing will examine actions by state and local prosecutors to engage politically motivated prosecutions of federal officials,” Mr. Jordan wrote. “In particular the recent political prosecution of President Donald Trump by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.”

I love Jordan but he’s got about as much of a chance of this happening as I do of throwing my Jeep across the street.
He’s a lot like Gowdy. Talks a great game but really doesn’t do much.
Probably 💩. Await ✋️ until after the election.
He talks like a Rottweiler, but his actions are that of a toothless Pomeranian that needs his milk bones crushed in milk.
It is all theater.
All talk. What has Jordan accomplished so far? NOTHING.
He is great in hearings. Blunt, to the point, doesn’t let the snakes wriggle away. But, big picture, what are the results of those hearings? Zilch.
I DEMAND a sternly worded letter!
Subpoena him. He could demand all day, and that won’t work.
At this point, take action or STFU. Get a search warrant to raid fat boys office and grab the local sheriff to kick in doors.
Like Eric Holder, Bragg, et al believe they ARE above the law. Contempt of Congress for not showing won’t lead to prison time for them.
And where exactly has the Republican’s bluster gotten them thus far? Nowhere! They are too dammed afraid of reprisal from the intelligence community to do anything about our country being hijacked by the DC traitor cabal.
I don’t believe you anymore, Mr. Jordan. Enjoy your perks, collaborator.
So when the prosecutors decline to appear, what happens then? The House can then cite them for Contempt of Congress and refer prosecution to the D.O.J. which will, of course, decline to prosecute.
Not unlike impeaching Mayorkas and then having the Senate declining to try him. The game is rigged.
The Former
Why is Jordan waiting two weeks? I want the Republicans to work through the weekend and have the hearings next Tuesday or Wednesday.
Strongly worded letter.
Perfect.
