I don’t think the judge’s instructions made that much difference to the jury that was seated. From the outset of the trial the most we could hope for was one or two creating a hung jury.

Someone pointed out the other day that the judge insisted on having the trial dates include Fridays so that Orthodox Jews would be unable to serve as jurors...because they might be more sympathetic to Trump.
