I trust the Lord in this. I know we live in Rome and it’s about to fall anyway so I don’t really see this verdict changing much other than the methodology used to destroy the nation. But then, I’m 70 so I don’t have that long anyway. For me it’s a form of morbid entertainment of sorts.
And yeah, I’m aware that my children and grandchildren will have to live with whatever happens, but every generation has their cross to bear. And frankly, enough of my kids move to the left that I kind of see this as a sort of situation where they’re going to get what they asked for.
And my wife and I have a very strong belief that what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.
At the end of the day, the Lord is in control and this life is but a mist.
