I tried explaining that we have a republic, not a democracy, to a young lady a couple of days ago. I got a very sarcastic response. I then explained that in a democracy we could vote to deprive women of their voting rights by a simple majority vote - no constitution to stand in the way. I got another sarcastic response. That one is truly beyond reason.

Arguing by using facts is always useless in the case of a Democrat.
