It was VERY cool! Those of us who have watched the cam regularly had no idea there was a second one there. It was just luck that Stone was operating the cam at the time and caught the activity. It was as big a surprise for him as it was for us.

As for the color scheme, that's apparently the US Dept. of Interior's choice. Stone posted a link in chat with the plane's history.

Just read that they did a piece about Goose 789 on the evening news on Channel 2. They’ll probably repeat it at 10 or 11, whichever time your nightly news comes on.
