On the optimistic side, the jury returns in an hour with a Not Guilty verdict, or at the end of day with Hung Jury. Will judge for them to continue for day or days?

Usually, depending on the complexity of the case, a quick verdict would not be a good sign (guilty verdict). If deliberations extend for days, hung jury is the likeliest outcome.

“Will judge for them to continue for day or days?”

Given this ‘judge’, he’ll likely speed things up by impounding the children of the jurors until the ‘correct’ verdict is reached.

Knowing what a hack Merchan is, he will insist that the jury keep trying to reach a verdict until they arrive at the “correct” (and most profitable verdict for the Merchan family) — guilty

Days a day days indicates to me that we have a hold out. Possible hung jury.
