I guess he’s run out of things to say about how great and wonderful the blues is... all five notes and the pentatonic scale overly repeated and permutated... the fish aren’t biting... so, he virtue signals as a diversion.

Gary Moore was a far better blues guy and much more versatile player Clapton. Moore was able to play outside the box.
