What would you say if I told you that there is a Republican House candidate who can topple Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC), one of the most powerful people in American politics? Just two years ago, Duke Buckner, with a paltry $200,000 in funding, got 37.8% of the vote in his first campaign against Clyburn. Clyburn is beatable, and Duke has the intelligence, charisma, life experience, guts, values, and energy to do it. All he needs now is the money. For that, he needs your help.
Rep. Jim Clyburn has been in the House of Representatives for 31 years and is one of the Democrat party’s most powerful figures. He is the man who saved Joe Biden’s flailing campaign in 2020. With that kind of power, you’d think that the voters from South Carolina’s Sixth District would be rolling in pork...but they’re not. In fact, the Sixth District is one of the poorest regions in America. That’s because Clyburn represents Washington, D.C., not his constituents.
Duke Buckner aims to change life for the people in the Sixth District, not by sending pork their way but by returning America to first principles: The free market, hard work, self-reliance, and a strong moral foundation grounded in the Bible, not the Communist Manifesto.
I had lunch the other day with Duke and came away incredibly impressed. He’s charming and handsome, which is always an asset in politics, but he offers so much more than those superficial qualities. Duke is highly intelligent. He has an excellent fund of knowledge, strong analytic abilities, and an amazing memory, all of which come through when speaking with him.

Clyburn’s district is 47% black, 43% white, 5% hispanic. 52% women. Buckner will need $
and Duke has the intelligence, charisma.
But mostly he’s just another hack the media will fawn over as they keep repeating how intelligent he is etc. etc.
Funny how biden’s 50+ years ..as a career politician.. made him an experienced statesmen.
Long shot. Sent him $24 anyway.
And ballots. Lots and lots of ballots!
So, yes, he’s Black, the primary qualification he would need to unseat Clyburn.
Obviously the media won’t fawn over him ..he’s not a dim.
“I have never heard of Duke Buckner before. He has to be better than Clyburn, but is he the Republican candidate to support in the SC sixth district?”
Yes, I personally spoke with Duke a couple of years ago. He is genuine, and I would choose him over Tim Scott.
Trump has long coat tails in SC. Maybe Duke can ride on in on the Trump train. Nancy the disgrace Mace got elected because of Trump.
In this day and age……MONEY SHOULDN’T MATTER !! MONEY SHOULDN’T MATTER !! MONEY SHOULDN’T MATTER !!
This truck driver just beat New Jersey’s most powerful lawmaker
Durr, a 58-year-old father of three and grandfather of six who grew up in South Jersey, estimates he spent less than $10,000 on the race.
The people paid attention and were sick of Sweeney’s sh*t
In 2021...is Durr still there?
Nope...Dems in Jersey gave him one term. Democrat focused on abortion and womens rights. Guess that’s the ticket to victory versus being pro-gun and against abortion.
D+14 district. Dream on.
The GOP’s only chance here WOULD have been if the district had been made less Democrat (at the expense of the 1st district — as Democrats sued to get).
It didn’t happen, which is good news because the 6th district would never have been sufficiently endangered while the 1st district would have been a goner.
Nice story, but 100% wishful thinking. No Republican has a chance in Clyburn’s district as it stands now.
Cash-on-hand as of the latest FEC filings:
Clyburn: $1.85 MILLION
Buckner: $16,717 — and 59 cents.
Since to the best of my recollection I’ve never disagreed with Andrea on anything, I am sending Duke $50.00. Hopefully, that marxist, socialist, NARCISSIST Clyburn can be beat!
