Trump is such a fascist, when he was president he went after Hillary for her illegal private email server which was likely hacked by foreign agents. He sent his DOJ attack dog Jeff sessions after Joe Biden for threatening to withhold financial aid to Ukraine unless they fired a prosecutor who was close to taking action against his sons Ukrainian business partners.
Those are actions he actually should have taken, but Trump and his close allies tried to go along and get along when most of the federal government apparatchiks who were against them. The results were crossfire hurricane, mueller investigation, and Ukraine phone call impeachment, all a waste of taxpayer money, all resulting in nothing. There should be people in jail, but not Trump and his allies, but people who ran these ops against him.

I only watched a few minutes of that press conference, it was so desperate sounding. I don’t think there was even any rehearsal of sorts on what points they wanted to get across. It was a mess.
