The Kh-47M2 Kinzhal (Russian: Х-47М2 Кинжал, lit. ‘Dagger’; NATO reporting name: AS-24 Killjoy) is a Russian hypersonic air-launched ballistic missile.[4][5] It has an estimated range of 460–480 km (290–300 mi)[6] and a reported top speed of Mach 10.

Mach 10 is pretty fast.
NATO cannot give The Ukraine anything to counter that speed...

Ballistic missiles fly in an absolutely predictable path and are easy to intercept.

That's the boost phase. and you are using the ever unrelible Wiki as a reference - anyone can edit it to say what ever they want on any subject.

Its still a ballistic missile with a booster. Not an actual hypersonic missile. here you can clearly see the Iskanker with the attached booster.

A real boost-glide hypersonic missile would look something like this:

“Mach 10 is pretty fast.

Patriots have had no problem with these.

The chicoms don’t think too highly of the alleged “hypersonic” kinzhal missle:

“”There is more and more evidence showing that what the US and Ukraine say on this matter is true,” the Chinese defense analyst Yin Jie wrote in November in the Shaanxi military magazine Ordnance Industry Science and Technology.

While such journals don’t necessarily reflect views or intel from within the People’s Liberation Army, state agencies must approve their publishers.

Despite this, Yin issued a surprisingly critical review of how Russia uses the Kinzhal, otherwise known as the “Dagger,” writing that the missile was “unlikely to have a significant impact” on the battlefield.”

“The Chinese analyst spelled out various ways Russia had undermined its own missile, such as how the Kinzhal had been fired and its availability. The Kinzhal, they concluded, just wasn’t the star that Moscow made it out to be.”

A similar view can be found in “Showdown between the Dagger and the Patriot in Ukraine,” an analysis published by the prominent Beijing defense and science journal Military Arms:

The Kinzhal’s maneuverability, they wrote, “cannot be compared with that of a real hypersonic missile,” adding that its ballistic trajectory also made the Kinzhal susceptible to defense systems such as the Patriot.

The Kinzhal, this separate analysis said, was at best a “marginal hypersonic missile.”
