Russian shell production?
I am calling horse hockey on this. You don’t go to North Korea and China and beg for artillery shells if your production is that great. Production, does not mean ‘import or re-import’ of shells.
PS, the US has spend a great amount of money to bring new shell
Production on line, with three new plants. Historically, artillery is something the US always seems to figure out.
These guys seem to think that the West, America, and Japan have decided that we are going to drop our way of fighting, mothball our military assets such as aircraft, bombers, and missiles and switch to meeting Russia in mass artillery battles where we die by the 100s of thousands in the mud of our trenches and mass infantry attacks into the face of Russian artillery.
Something the general public, (and especially the pro-Russia doomsayers), don't know is that for decades the U.S. Gov has had packages shell-making machine tools mothballed in an activity called the Defense Industrial Plant Equipment Command (DIPEC). I haven't been in contact with DIPEC for over thirty years, but it would be interesting to know whether some of this machinery is being taken out of it's wrappings and readied for use somewhere. Perhaps some FR internet sleuths can find out.
