So democracy didn’t really exist in the U.S. before Roe v Wade, Social Security, Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act?
Interesting in that all four of the markers of democracy that Jeffries cites were Democrat initiatives. Also interesting that when SCOTUS struck down Plessy v Ferguson in Brown v Board of Education, SCOTUS was striking down yet another democrat party initiative.
