Thanks for your comment. If Hitler hadn’t stabbed Stalin in the back and double-crossed him with the non-aggression treaty, WWII might have ended a whole lot differently. But even with that, both men were extremely arrogant, and would have been at logger-heads over territory, and war between the two would have likely taken place anyway. Makes you wonder if the U.S. would have gotten involved.

Nothing was going to stop Germany from invading Russia. That was in the cards all along. One question was whether Britain would sign a separate peace to assist in getting rid of the Soviets.
