It was SOVIET blood (which included Russian and Ukrainian and Belarussian etc. troops) but also key was American trucks and materiel and the British/French/American attacks in Normandy that eased the pressure on the Soviets.

It's just historically not accurate. Basically a Boomer Truth Regime narrative substitutiong for facts. The war in the East dwarfed anything that happened in Western Europe.

Did you read what I wrote in post #322?
It was SOVIET blood (which included Russian and Ukrainian and Belarussian etc. troops) but also key was American trucks and materiel and the British/French/American attacks in Normandy that eased the pressure on the Soviets. The number of deaths is also distinct from the "winning the war" - it is related, but not the sole reason. The western war was over different terrain with lower deaths than the east and where the east's deaths were most in the 'bloodlands'
