If I were her, I’d make life miserable for any involved Uvalde police officer, and on a daily basis. I’d follow them around and demand they resign. It would become my life’s work.

Anyway, all honor to the Border Patrol officers who showed up and took the gunman out.

Qualified immunity protects them. Unless they knowingly violated a constitutional right clearly spelled out in case law, individual officers can’t be held liable.

The Supreme Court has ruled police have no obligation to protect you. They can walk away, turn their back and let someone kill you and they are in no way liable.
