Ehrlich is (he's in his 90's now) basically a Neo-Malthusian.

Bucky Fuller spoke and wrote extensively against Malthusian doctrine. Bucky pointed out how tools, machines, and other technologies allowed us to "do more with less"...

...which process he called "ephemeralization".

Bucky was right. Malthus et al are wrong.
