Amen. I think she has plenty of evidence to dismiss the case, but is waiting to see what New York verdict will be. Her dismissing it now may spur New York jurists to convict Trump. IMHO

David Harbach, one of Smith's lead prosecutors and usually a cool customer in court, had a series of mini temper tantrums this morning. At times pounding his fist on the podium and clapping his hands in anger to emphasize a point, Harbach was totally unprofessional, demeaning, and petulant.

Alan Dershowitz (and probably others before him) gave the following advice to lawyers: "If the facts are on your side, pound the facts into the table. If the law is on your side, pound the law into the table. If neither the facts nor the law are on your side, pound the table."

So Jack Smith and his team are frustrated that they have neither the facts nor the law on their side, so they are pounding the table for all it's worth.

Yup...it's understandable that Rat Party Headquarters would be outraged that the judge released info that The Department of Just Us specifically authorized lethal force during the Mar-a-Lago raid. I don't recall any similar authorization in the “raid” of The Big Guy's garage.

Julie Kelly is indeed great. While NYT and CNN “reporters” are busy trying to make a felony out of anything Trump does or has done, Kelly is revealing the corruption of Jack Smith and the DOJ. If it wasn’t for her, would anyone be reporting it? Mainstream media has been silent.

Smith thought he would waltz into Judge Cannon’s courtroom and make it “his” courtroom just as the DOJ does in DC. She isn’t having it.

Sounds to me like they are trying to provoke the Cannon, hoping for a reaction that they can use as a basis for an appeal. Fortunately, Judge Cannon remains calm, measured and professional throughout.

Compare that to the deference given by Merchan and Engoron to the NY prosecutors, and their hostility to Trump and his defense attorneys.
