You have to wonder if Trump was warned by someone, possibly the Secret Service, to stay away from Mar-A-Lago that day. Remember that Willie Brown, then Speaker of the California Assembly, was warned not to fly into New York the day of the 9-11 attack. Senator Jesse Helms was apparently told not to board the KAL-007 flight from Anchorage that Representative Larry McDonald, a staunch anticommunist, boarded. KAL-007 was shot down by the Soviets when the flight supposedly strayed into USSR air space.
