My Dad sold the farm near Boston in 1973 to get away from the suburban sprawl. Moved to NH which was then pretty solid red. But the sprawl continued. He died in 1997. I'm glad I turned down the NH house now. I'd be drowning in leftists. (Brother is still there, so I know.)
I live in NH, so I know.
The cities are blue, the towns are majority red.
We have a Republican House, Senate, Executive Council, and Governor.
We have Dem US Reps and Senators because of dame-day registration by college students declaring residency is enough to tip the scales.
We are a purple state but we ain’t blue.
