Why is the defense calling anyone?! What are we missing here? Is the filtered news we get, me mostly from Fox and print media, biased and missing the context in the courtroom?

My hunch is the preferred scenario, for the defense at least, was moving directly to closing arguments, leaving Cohen’s disastrous and perjured testimony fresh on the jurors minds. Prosecution side now wants to delay things, so defense will now try to roll out its big guns, the biggest one being Costello.
Moving to closing arguments after the per usual request for directed verdict and motion to dismiss are denied by this crooked judge.
Turley said he preferred that the defense called no witnesses and left the jury with the disaster of Cohen's testimony as the last thing they saw. But if they thought they had an absolute case that totally destroys the prosecution with one witness, that must be what they're thinking.

Agree with Turley. If Cohen still had a shred of credibility after a disastrous week, Costello would be the coup de grace.

This isnt a judge, he is a disgrace to judges everywhere..most judges are honorable people who do their job to uphold the law..this judge is a leftist hack who is getting money funneled to his daughter by Dan Goldman, 100K per week
