The Left is doubling down on race baiting. It has worked for decades to corral the black vote to support the Democrats. Biden is cut from the same cloth as LBJ, who boasted to a Southern Democrat Senator that the civil rights measures would have the blacks (not the word he used) voting Democratic for the next 200 years. For 50 years, LBJ's boast has been correct. Like the Jews, the blacks seem to have been in a zombie like state of mindlessly supporting Democrats even when it is against their best interests. For Jews, that would be protection for Israel and against anti-Semitic terrorism. For blacks, that would be strict curbs on immigration.
