So it didn’t occur to the waitress or manager to call the HPD and ask for immediate assistance (mention strong-arm robbery in progress, surveillance video of whodunit, perpetrators on scene, “come quick before this escalates”). Take pics of the perpetrators and their vehicles/plates if any. Wait for the cops.
Or be macho and risk the boyfriend’s life over a phone. Either jail or $50,000 in legal expenses coming up for boyfriend. Treating the gunshots will cost the public several hundred thousand dollars.
That’s what I was thinking. Another chick letting her boyfriend potentially risk his life over something stupid. Hope the boyfriend is fully exonerated but not a lot of high level thinking on the part of the girl and boyfriend.
When confronted with scumbags, let the police deal with it.
Do you really believe that Houston PD would drop everything to resolve a stolen cell phone allegation at 2am? Most large city PDs won’t even respond to stolen vehicle reports.
Thankfully at least someone with common sense
