I’ve been under general anesthesia 3 times in the last 3 years. For cognizant awareness they have asked my middle name, date of birth, day of week, mother’s maiden name, etc. Never asked to draw an analog clock, which sure I could have drawn. Probably would have drawn an analog round clock with military numbers starting at 12 zero thirty, ending with 2300.
Kids these days are as competent with analog clocks as they are with stick shifts or reading or writing cursive.
