I share your dismay at many county commissions in Geeorgia. I live in the “Peoples’ Republic” of Athens/Clarke County, so I have to endure extreme left-wing local politics. Fortunately, the state legislature has gerrymandered surrounding House districts so that the Athens votes are split among more conservative counties nearby.
I don’t want party registration in Georgia because that information could be used one day by Democrats in power to target opposition voters.
I disagree about Hice. He had no chance to win a state-wide election under the existing rules (party crossovers allowed), and he foolishly gave up a safe House seat to take that chance. Fortunately, an equally conservative Republican (on most issues), Mike Collins, won his vacated House seat.
I’m a little southwest, in Newton.
The county run by corrupt black democrats that love the fact that Newton is becoming the “industrial landfill” when they want to build something, somewhere, with the promise of jobs, jobs, jobs
These folks got on their knees to Kemp and Rivian promising 7500+ jobs, for a failing industry and a failing company. **Illinois just gave them $900mil to expand there. These clowns can’t fathom that it takes fewer people to build an EV. Silverado plant has 800 employees…..an effin’ joke
Toss in the fact that Atlanta is pricing folks out, more “build to rent” developments coming, more warehouses because they think the shipping industry is going to shut down in California, shortages in policing, gonna be good times down here
I can only hope that Jones is like me, ascends to Governor and starts cleaning process.
#1 on hisToDo List….lower the film tax credit to $299million. The same number that Newsome offered. However he were to a true rock star, eliminate completely and send all the liberal migrants that came with it, back to where they came from.
