The generation that was subjected to the Russian jackboot in 1956 has died off, having failed to educate its’ successors.

They are not sure which boot to choose.
They were also hung out to dry by the West twice. I can see not setting up for a third time.

Not to worry, the Hungarian successor generation has been educated by the NATO cluster bombing of Serbian Christian Civilian Children in 1999 (much more relevant than 1956), and the NATO Ethnic Cleansing of Christians from Serbia's Kosovo Province, and the UN Blue Helmet White Slavery Operations in the "Pacified" Christian areas.
You'll be pleased to know that no Nazis or Blue Helmets were injured in the NATO bombings.

Wasn’t it the British who urged them to rise, but no help ever came? Eisenhower wasn’t going to die upon that hill.

The successors see the EU trying to replace them and destroy Hungarian culture.

The generation that was subjected to the Russian jackboot in 1956 has died off, having failed to educate its’ successors. The generation of 1956 fought for freedom and autonomy. Not for a change of foreign rulers.

Maybe they don''t want to follow in the footsteps of the U.S., and bankrupt their country to fight a proxy war with Russia, in order to make those invested in the industrial war complex richer than they already are.
