Even in the later days of Hitler’s reign before WWII, say 37-38, many older German Jews thought all of the antisemitism would pass over, and resisted getting out.
Many were German army war heroes from WWI. They still were executed.
Jews in America better start realizing that “Never Again” means they need to take a much stronger stand. It isn’t supposed to be just a slogan.
