The claim was extensively made during the 2000s, with many websites and print articles reporting it, others disputing it.

There might be several books about it, though the only one I read was The Terror Enigma: 9/11 and the Israeli Connection.

There was a famous four-part Fox News report in late 2001, which touched on the issue of Israeli spies, posing as art students, following the hijackers. The ADL pressured Fox into removing it from their site, but it's sometimes re-uploaded to other sites. I downloaded it and have copies.

You can also search such terms as "Art students 9/11 urban moving dancing Israelis" and see what comes up, both pro and con.
