FWIW, some Freepers blamed the CIA after Oct 7 for not warning Israel about the attack, believing the CIA had better intel than the Mossad.

perhaps they did share what they knew and it was ignored or mishandled on the USA?
but if the news tells you that so-ands-so withheld info, then all of a sudden were to believe the media.
All I’ll say is that the intelligence “industry” does not work the way we think it works. the head of the MI6 doesnt just pick up the phone and call his CIA director buddy up saying “and uhh by the way, our spies masquerading as diplomats discovered a top secret plot to blow up xyz building next week at 2pm. I’ll have my deputy send over the phone call we intercepted through our secret agent within verizon!”
information is transmitted in a much different fashion
