True story. When Reggie Jackson was one of the biggest Yankee stars he was parking his luxury car into a curbside parking space in New York.
Suddenly a guy drove up and yelled that the space was his because he wanted it first. Jackson got out to talk to him and the guy pulled out his gun and shot at him. The shot missed him and hit the car. Jackson put up his palms and said “Hey, okay, okay, the space is yours, buddy.”
Bullet hole had to be repaired but it could have been worse.
