I have not been to Chicago for a while, but that used to be pretty safe area?!
Yes. But the criminals hijack cars and travel all over the city to rob and pillage. Especially with a focus on the once safer areas (i.e. European peoples) where there’s less chance of fighting back and more goods to steal. With less police protection given most patrol in the worse areas, and with a declining police force, it will only get worth. Chicago is in a death spiral. No kidding.
This sounds like black on black crime.
