We were just outside looking at them south of Nashville. Here’s a tip. Use your phone camera to look. What looked like a little haze, or a contrail was actually bright pink, blue and green auroras! Take a picture and the colors are brighter!
I had the same experience! Just buys of haze, but good photos 😊
I’ll try again tomorrow night and video it to see if they move!
Worked well on our friends’ I-phones. My wife’s Galaxy phone got nothing - naked eye was better.
