I can see this opening a whole new can of worms. Gov. Newsom thinks this will help climate change? He’s not thinking straight charging an extra light bill to encourage someone to buy an EV that they already could not afford. That is major stupidity.
You can shut off your Main Breaker to isolate your property from the grid, but you can’t physically detach the wires. It’s a racket: they bill you for a condition you cannot legally avoid, and the Public Utilities Commission that’s supposed to protect ratepayers is stated by leftists, bought, and paid for by leftist politicians.
