You’re entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts. The US Constitution does not allow secession. Texas v. White 1869. And again and again Reb you’re showing how close minded, obstinate and unable or unwilling to accept the fact 11 Southern states seceded from the Union for the expressed purpose of maintaining the economic system it thrived on.

An economy me a slave labor. A human capital worth $ 4 billion dollars.

Ditto. The US Constitution does not forbid secession and as such it is a power reserved by the states.

Texas v. White 1869.

Is a laughable case decided after the fact by the 5 SCOTUS justices Lincoln appointed. Let me appoint 5 justices and I guarantee you the SCOTUS will issue a new and different ruling.

Again Yank you're showing how close minded, obstinate and unable or unwilling to accept the fact that the 12 Southern states seceded from the Union to gain their independence so they could rule themselves, stop being economically exploited by the Northern states and set economic policies such as low tariffs and balanced budgets and decentralized power that suited them.

An economy me a slave labor. A human capital worth $ 4 billion dollars.

They would have been quite prosperous if every slave had been free and had been a wage laborer...or had been a sharecropper as indeed most were after the war. They did not need slavery to be prosperous. They needed lower tariffs.
