There were 11....arguably 12 with Missouri. I never said it was "just" the Upper South. You Lincoln apologists and your bullshit attempts to deny the Corwin Amendment....

Listen PCer. The Southern states seceded to gain their independence to set their own tariffs and get out from under the rule of Imperial Washington. Lincoln started the war by invading South Carolina's sovereign territory.
