“they haven’t presented any evidence a crime was committed.”

The State haven’t even revealed what comprises the felony violation required to extend the statute of limitations on the misdemeanors they haven’t proved.

The State is betting everything on Michael Cohen, convicted perjurer and fraud.

He has no way of knowing anything about how Trump’s controller booked the NDA expenses. The payments to Cohen for the NDAs were in fact “legal expenses”. If Trump puts up a defense, he should call 2-3 accounting experts to testify 1) that booking them as legal expenses was acceptable practice, and 2) that any related public filing or disclosure was not due until well into 2017. Thus Trump had no motive to use how the expense was characterized in the books and records to influence the Oct 2016 election. That kills ALL the misdemeanor charges.

Whoa, so there are still smart people around, respect, I thought I was going mad the level of drivel from MSM and talking heads.

There is no case here, but a partisan use of judicial system for political ends...the only thing keeping this alive is the partisan jury...but I hope there are some non-partisan there, who can use their brain

This case is not even close to being proven...in fact, if the prosecution rest after Micheal Cohen testimony, the judge should dismiss the case without it even going to jury.

It appears that the prosecutor has thus far failed to flip Trump Organization’s CFO Allen Weisselberg. He’s the one who paid Cohen, and described the payments as a legal expense. Without his testimony, I don’t see how the prosecutor makes his case.

Of course, Judge Merchan and the prosecution are doing everything they can to force him to testify. The Judge is even offering his courtroom for the prosecutor to “probe Weisselberg’s willingness to testify”. It seems the Judge is actually the prosecutor here...
