Yes,in a different set of circumstances it could surely be said that the cop overreacted. But this cop was responding to a domestic disturbance. Anyone who spends as much time as I do watching The Crime Channel (I'm retired) knows that domestics *often* turn ugly thanks to a filthbag psychopath guy with a gun...a knife...and a diagnosis of schizophrenia. And then you add to that the fact that he was sent to the wrong apartment.

Given *those* undeniable facts I'm not sure I'd use the word "overreacted".

Yes,of course it was tragic...very tragic. But if I'm a juror in the civil trial the only votes of "financially liable" I'm gonna cast are against the people who were responsible for the cop going to the wrong apartment.

It’s not clear yet if the Officer went to the correct department but the wrong apartment… I’m also wondering if there actually was a disturbance or if w
a woman named “Karen” essentially swatted the guy

“Anyone who spends as much time as I do watching The Crime Channel “

Well who can trump THAT kind of expertise?
