Victor Hanson in his latest podcast really told the truth. He said the USA should limit LEGAL immigration to 250,000 per year AND get back to vetting people for the contributions that they can make to the country.
He points out the very high number of foreign born people here and how the schools no longer teach assimilation and becoming an American. It’s an absolute disaster.
And that doesn’t touch on the problem of the 30 million illegals here and the thorough corruption of our electoral processes they cause.
With all due respect to the great VDH, many people have been saying the same, for years.
Every single illegal and any of their progeny should be summarily dropped over their own border, post haste. “Legal” immigration should be halted for no less than 5 years, and after that, no one without significant, provable skills to add to our society should be considered.
