Had it not been for Mordechai’s intelligence gathering, we wouldn’t have known about Haman. As far as the Children of Israel knew, Pharaoh was our pal. At first, making bricks was considered a patriotic duty of all good immigrants.
Naive. Aren’t we. Why else would Jews be sending their kids to Ivy League schools, letting them get indoctrinated with left wing crap.
This guy reminds me of Obama saying that Isis was the JV team. There's been plenty of naive people other than Jews through the ages. Sadly, some of those naive people deliberately choose the state of naivety, and a large part of the Jewish community has blinders on, and hasn't learned a thing from past history. I am currently reading a book titled: "The Avengers: A Jewish War Story" by Rich Cohen.
One of the incidents covered in the book concerns Jacob Gens, who was the Head of the Jewish police of the Vilnius Ghetto in what is now Lithuania. He was married to a non-Jew. He was of the naive belief that he could save lives if he worked with the Germans. Jacob thought that by keeping the Germans happy, no harm would come to the people in the ghetto. He forced the turning over of Isaac Wittenberg, who was a member of the Jewish Resistance in the Vilnius Ghetto, to the Germans. Wittenberg was also a communist. Jacob saw Wittenberg as a communist first, and not a Jew. Thus it was worth getting rid of him. Jacob betrayed Wittenberg to the police, but while Isaac was being transported, fellow members of the Resistance attacked the police and freed him. He escaped temporarily, but because he feared a massacre would take place because of his escape, he turned himself in. He ended up dying not long after, either by committing suicide, or having been executed. The real story of his demise is not known.
For his working with the Germans to keep them happy, Jacob was executed in September 1943 by the Gestapo, when the ghetto was liquidated, and most of the residents sent to work camps or extermination camps. His wife and daughter escaped the Germans and survived the war.
