Where are the Republicans enmasse coming out demanding this dimwit Dem to step down and resign? Seems like when the media attacks Republicans, the Republican members distance themselves and watch as the attacked person withers on the vine. Who actually came to Sarah Palin’s defense back in 2008? Nothing but freaking crickets!!!
I agree. We take our own out of consideration for these gaffes while Democrats point to such episodes among themselves as resume enhancers.
Many of the attacks came from the Republican political establishment, in particular people close to McCain and Romney.
Because he shouldn’t have to resign over this.
